To sign up for the Clash Royale Crown Championship go here:  https://crownchampionship.clashroyale.com/ Then beginning May 11, you can log in to that website to engage in open play games. I had no idea you could find hundreds of free tournaments in Clash Royale at any given time! Here's a video from  JK - Clash Royale  that shows you how to join a free Clash Royale tournament. I tried it and it works, it just takes a few tries to find one that's not password protected and is not full. But within about a minute I found and joined one of the free tournaments. Waiting for it to start now! This has nothing to do with the official Clash Royale tournament that they just launched in May 2017. It's just other players who are currently engaged in a free tournament waiting for it to start.
